Are “Health Authorities” Always Right?
Do you think that health authorities can be mistaken?
Is it possible that they’d believe that toxic ingredients are healthy?
So how could we ever get to know the truth?
Well… Ancel Keys is a key figure in this game!
Cholesterol: Firefighter or Arsonist?
Now let’s see who’s NOT the bad guy here.
And that is cholesterol.
Cholesterol is the firefighter.
Would you blame the firefighter for the fire?
That’d be very silly, right?
So what does cholesterol do?
First of all, it doesn’t cause heart attacks.
Cholesterol is a very important building block and a versatile problem-solver.
And yes, consuming saturated fat-rich foods will significantly raise cholesterol levels in the blood.
If there’s not enough from food, the body makes it, as it desperately needs it.
Because cholesterol is actually a nutrient.
Every cell in the body requires it for basic functions.
The number one important function is that cholesterol keeps the cell membranes flexible enough.
The body’s duct tape is also cholesterol.
If something needs urgently fixing, then the duct tape is cholesterol.
So the body uses cholesterol to stop blood vessels from bleeding when their walls are injured.
Cholesterol is a very important building block too, but that will be another story.
The 2015 U.S. Guidelines: Cracks in the Old Story
According to US Dietary Guidelines revisions made in 2015: “cholesterol is not a nutrient of concern for overconsumption”.
This revision came from large epidemiological studies and meta-analyses.
This is huge, because it shakes the basis of the saturated-fats-are-bad-and-vegetable-oils-are-good concept.
Although dieticians still hold on to the outdated wrong concept firmly.
Interesting, isn’t it?
There is no clinical trial that has shown that lowering cholesterol produces a beneficial effect.
Not the ones that reported their data truthfully.
Enter Ancel Keys and the Diet–Heart Hypothesis
This is where our key figure comes onto the horizon.
Ancel Keys, a physiologist.
In the 1960s, Ancel Keys showed that vegetable oils lower cholesterol.
But he had ONLY ASSUMED that lowering cholesterol would prevent heart attacks.
This is his diet-heart hypothesis.
Ancel Keys was the head of a huge study, funded by the American Heart Association.
This Minnesota Coronary Experiment had been conducted on about 15,000 people for over 2 decades.
It was a very well-controlled study too.
And guess what?
It showed that lowering cholesterol with vegetable oils did not lower the risk of heart disease.
Actually, an analysis showed that lowering cholesterol with vegetable oils can cause serious harms!
But what happened?
Dr. Keys and his team hid all the evidence in a basement.
And altered the report to favor his hypothesis.
Cunning, right?
Chris Ramsden: Digging Up Buried Data
How do we know this?
Because of Chris Ramsden, MD.
Dr. Ramsden has tracked down the whereabouts of the original reports and data of the Minnesota Coronary Experiment.
What he found was just outrageous.
Swapping out saturated fats for vegetable oils increases mortality.
Simply put, we may die earlier if we lower saturated fats and increase vegetable oils in our diet.
OMG!!!
Dr. Ramsden has published his findings.
But they were buried alive again.
A paid industry puppet has undermined Dr. Ramsden’s findings.
This puppet is Walter Willett, MD.
Dr. Willett was used to write a summarized report of Dr. Ramsden’s report.
And Dr. Willett’s summary simply buried these paradigm-shifting findings alive:
“This is an interesting historical footnote that has no relevance to current dietary recommendations that emphasize replacing saturated fat with polyunsaturated fat.”
Note: Polyunsaturated fats are high in vegetable oils, while saturated fats are like butter, beef tallow or lard.
Dr. Walter Willett is a well-esteemed puppet though.
He’s a tenured professor of epidemiology and nutrition at Harvard’s School of Public Health.
So his words are like gold for the profession.
Puppets, Big Food & the AHA
I know, I’m rude to call a well-esteemed professor a puppet.
But I have all the rights to do so.
Because Dr. Walter Willett and Dr. Ancel Keys have assisted in laying down and spreading lies worldwide to the human race.
This is pure oppression by them.
But who’s behind them?
The whole game started with the AHA (American Heart Association).
Despite its humble beginnings when the association was supported only by a small collection of truly caring doctors, the AHA went mainstream in 1948.
Why? Because Procter & Gamble had created a marketing campaign through a radio show to raise money for the AHA.
Procter & Gamble was the biggest cottonseed oil and other edible oil manufacturer in the world at the time.
Practically, P&G used a PR genius (con artist?), Edward Bernays, to get money from people to destroy people’s and their ancestors’ health.
How disgusting is that!
This is truly perverted.
Because P&G covertly bought and used the AHA to spread lies about their products.
P&G has built a community through AHA — all based on lies — that has been protecting refined seed oils (vegetable oils) for over 80 years.
The AHA is still being funded greatly by Big Food as of today.
The Good & The Bad
Sorry for the horror story, but you must know the truth.
And the truth is that butter, lard and tallow are safe but refined oils are not.
And next we’ll have a look at cholesterol as a building block.
